Ladies and Gents please be safe and please get yourself and your family ready. After Hurricane Harvey I had this bad feeling in my gut just like Hurricane Charley. I was not ready for Hurricane Charley but this time around I am making sure I am ready as best I can be. Two generators all ready to go and the only thing I have left is to board up my windows. My wife is making me board up the windows even though we have double-pane windows and my house we built in 2006 up to the newest hurricane specs...

Be safe everyone because this is more important than football or anything sports..

I've been praying all day long asking The Lord to turn this Hurricane north into open waters of the Atlantic!!!!

Aiming it at me?( I live just south of Gettysburg.) Not many hurricanes hit here. But Camille and Agnes killed hundreds and caused billions in damage with all that rain and tornadoes) Camille hit during the night. Nobody was expecting a hurricane that struck New Orleans to do so much destruction and loss of life in this area. It took a right turn and got stalled in the Shenandoah and Blue Ridge mountains. Flash floods caught people asleep. Many never woke up

The one model has it coming up the east coast right to my town. Hopefully it follows a different path than that current model.

Except for storm surge on the coasts flooding shouldnt be too much of an issue with this one since its moving pretty fast but those winds are going to be crazy.

My Dad lost a major baseball card collection in his basement in Carlisle P.A in 72'. He still talks of Agnes to this day...

Somebody is going to take this one. We got lucky in Melbourne last year with Matthew. Perhaps this is payback. sadgator ain't gonna board up this year though. The process of preparing for Matthew was so traumatic that sadgator just doesn't have the heart to go through the effort of destroying his house trying to protect it again. sadgator's just gonna throw all the important shit in plastic tubs and haul ass in the safest direction. It sucks.

ColoSt, cancel your reservations. This will be a 3-Peat for UF in losing a game to the weather. By Saturday, the outter fringes of that B---h Irma is supposed to be in N.FL, and by Saturday evening, the SWAMP may very well be a very large swimming pool. Anybody going in might not get out alive, even the Gators...

In fact, if they take a direct hit, the following weeks game may also be a washout...

Silver lining: that might be for the best...

No reason to cancel - just play Friday night like UCF as S FL people will be hunkered down already or getting out of dodge. That team is scheduled to arrive Thursday anyway.

Moved to a noon start, so maybe they get it played.
Everone in S.FL needs to take their electric fans outside, aim them east, and put them on High... ;)

You saw that on the internet.

Too bad Castro isn't alive to tell the hurricane to leave.

The first thing I did after Matthew blew by was purchase a nice, cordless, power drill, impact driver and some quality bits. Using a cheap drill (not cordless) and a manual hand ratchet to board up a house hours before the storm hit was not pleasant.
