How can people not let it go?

Its like you dated this girl that you thought was so amazing and gave you everything, then at the end you saw all her flaws so you rebounded with another girl for too long and hated it but now you're with a girl that is effing amazing but all you can do is think about the last girl (while trying to find flaws early on in the new relationship)
