The article you cite seems to have Perkins favoring LSU over Florida; could be another suiter as well, who knows.

I didn't realize he had such offensive skills - RB & WR with 4.5 or better speed.

Don't think he makes it to G'ville, but at least we put our hat in the ring.
 
Another short term option - only 1 year I think - is Lorenzo McCaskill from ULL who recently entered the transfer portal. Gators seem to have been "slow playing" him, but if Perkins commits to LSU, that will probably change.

I don't think he would scare Perkins off. We lost Diabate and Hopper already. It makes me wonder if we really even want him.
