"His first year will be astonishing"

If Trump ends up being the republican nominee, I hope he wins but we will see meltdowns that make 2016 look mostly peaceful.

Imagine the MSM. Imagine Hollywood. Imagine the blue cities.
Good. Those are the tactics that you should never placate. That’s why we have that problem to begin with. We are letting the children throw temper tantrums and have their way.

I would contend that voting for anyone other than Trump makes one an enabler of the treasonous behaviors of the Democratic Party, the FBI, DOJ and other government agencies involved in the spying, censoring, money laundering, and fraudulent elections that are a cancer in America today.

If you’re voting based on the corrupt attacks causing you to waver, then you are part of the problem. If you’re voting with the mindset that any R is better than any D, you are part of the problem.

If Trump doesn’t win, I want 4 more years of Biden. Why? Because we apparently haven’t felt enough pain yet to do what it takes to right the ship. I am ready to rip the damn bandaid off so that when I am dead, my children and grandchildren have a chance. And Biden gets us there quickly, the Rinos prolong it, but get us to the same place.

Yeah I said it, bring it. I got on the full armor.

Stop selling me, I'm in already. 😉

Honestly the meltdowns would be something to behold. I might call out of work just to watch, like national signing day from years gone by.

I'm part of the problem because I do believe any R is better than a D. Agree, sometimes the margins are razor thin but I'm looking for less clown show, net-net.

I do get your point. If WE can't win, let this thing come to a head. Rip the bandaid off and get to it...I'm just not there yet.

Just done with it man. Had a weird, but revealing event happen in public this year, and it was an eye opener.

I am over the damage the Uniparty is doing, and my fukitol meds are running on empty. Honestly, I have had it with somewhere between 95-99 percent of those that call themselves Republicans.

I get the mindset of an R being better than a D, I really do. I was there most my life. But over the years, I have seen R’s do more damage to the conservative movement than D’s could ever dream of doing. There’s a reason the Trojan horse is so effective.

You and I have been down this road before on this topic, and it’s nothing personal. Like I said earlier, my eyes saw something this summer that changed my perspective on the urgency of the moment. No need to rehash because I can relate to your perspective.

And yes, I still lean just about as far right as one can. 😉

I understand and I'm not even arguing with you on your point. I fully get it and it's getting harder and harder to disagree with what you're saying.

I'm just not all the way there yet.

If this is progress (from your POV), I cannot guarantee you that I would vote for Christie if he's the nominee. Probably true re: Asa as well.

ANOTHER reason to NEVER, EVER give your gun rights away.

(btw...my many friends from the gun makers told me to post this exact statement)

I think his point is that if you vote for a republican to avoid voting for a democrat, there's at least a 90% chance you're voting for a democrat anyway.

I think the solution is to stop playing the game the left wants us to play.

Despite all the claims to the contrary, I think the majority of Americans think that we can just 'vote' our way out of all our problems. That we just need to find 'good' candidates and vote them in, and everything will eventually get fixed.

I always go back to Moneyball:

Billy Beane: "Ok fine, what's the problem?"

Scout: "Billy we are all trying to solve the problem here"

Billy: "Not like this, you're not. You're not even looking at the problem!"

Nothing changes till we all understand what our problem is.

The good thing about the GOP is that they do little. That's what the founding fathers intended in my opinion. The less the government meddles, the better off we are. The Democrats on the other hand, are hell bent to put us into a nanny state and utterly destroy America as we knew it.

Correct, but one thing I will add.

I feel like if I vote for that R, and they are a Trojan horse D, then it’s even worse. He (Adam Kinzinger)or she (hello Liz Cheney) can do more damage from within, than any D could do. Those aren’t the only ones, just the current most visible ones, and least debatable ones.

Doing leftist things from within the Republican party moves things little by little to the left, and the slow trickle, over time…..and here we are.

This is where I feel we are sometimes.

MDFer the right of picture sheep. 😂
