It's been confirmed that the transfer speeds of the information from the server were so fast that it couldn't have happened over the internet. The media hasn't told the sheep this, because it kills the 'Russia hacked the DNC server' hoax. But transfer speeds are confirmed.
So that means the transfer happened locally.
