Why can't a single CFB pundit just say "Hey, the Gators were better"?

From ESPN, Mark Packer, The Show Pony, Gary, Spears and all the SEC channel commentators they are all explaining how Auburn just made this simple mistake here and there or how it was just because Bo is showing how inexperienced he is.

Whoa WTF, how about the GATORS are just BETTER!

We were better last Saturday. We won the game. There are 22 people on the field at once...Nix didn't play defense or special teams dummy.

Nix didnt let Perine run the long TD. Nix didn't let Freddie Swain run a route down rhe seam to the endzone. Nix wasnt involved in Townsend's hang time or long punts. Nix wasnt involved in McPherson's PAT's/FG's or kickoffs for touchbacks. Nix was not the one letting Kyle Trask throw bullets. Nix had nothing to do with Gator kick and punt coverage. Nix didn't defend Kyle Pitts. Nix didnt defend Lucas Krull. Nix isn't responsible for blocking J Greenard.

The press keeps dissing the Gators, they come up with all the reasons we should not have won.
Maybe CDM uses this to motivate his guys and we should just be happy with the Ws but its annoying as hell.

Agree with this. Good thing about the SEC is you always control your own destiny. Even if we lose this week, if we win the division we’re going to be in the mix for a playoff spot and/or a bcs bowl.

The other thing I'd add is that we keyboard warriors, especially in today's world are eager to take offense at any perceived slight that may not even be real. We either don't like what a commentator said, or they said something different to another news outlet, or they didn't say it fast enough for our ego, or they said it too fast, or you could "tell" they didn't mean it. I mean - this period in US history is shit lol - at least concerning the point I'm making.

Danielson is fine - he gets it wrong at times but he's an okay color guy for 3:30 CBS.

In fact, you could make the argument that from a goal standpoint, this week’s game is really pretty meaningless...which is odd to say given the magnitude of the rankings...

Even if we we were to beat LSU, if we lose to UGA, we can’t win the division...

Conversely, if we lose to LSU, we can still win out, beat UGA and win the division...

Same is true for LSU - if they lose and run the table they are good.

It's kind interesting that this game has real organic heat to it, with really not much on the line outside of reputation. This almost makes it bigger in some ways. These teams really want to get after it just for the competition/status.
