Amongst the leadership of both of them, absolutely. But seriously without knowing the back story, it's possible its a false flag operation. And there's no way for us to know either way.
I am glad we are looking to stop Putin, but a few items of note:
1. Obama let Russia into Crimea - and emboldened Putin
2. Biden disastrously botched the exit from Afghanistan - further emboldened
3. We are spending billions, but Germany gets to "naval-gaze" around whether, their near neighbor should get tanks.

I've heard this before, we all have. I just don't trust Putin's minions. But on the other hand, I think Zelenskyy is just as corrupt, if not more. I'll be honest, I've got no dog in this fight, no more than MS13 gangs killing other thugs in Chicago. But I do feel sorry for the rank and file residents in both countries. They really aren't so different than us. They just have tyrants for leaders. I'm all for cutting off aid to Ukraine.
1. I don't want Russia in Ukraine.
2. I'm unwilling to support the regime in Ukraine to keep the Russians out.
What does that leave? That's where I am.
I do feel bad for the average Ukrainian citizens of course...and even the Russians. Especially the hot ones who always want to be my friend on social media.

A guy I know owns a piece of property in a small town on the east coast of central Florida. A couple of years ago he turned it into a rustic rural theme marriage venue (and charges a huge fee for doing so). He recently got the paperwork to marry people as well. Legally ordained minister. Today he married an older guy (his friend) and a younger blonde Russian bride. We told him he might as well get into the sex slave trade and keep an inventory on hand. 😂 😂 😂

You are spot on. The disastrous exit from Afghanistan has led our enemies to judge us as weak. Germany is not a very good ally either. Many forget our raid on Gaddafi in 86 that Germany ALSO did not allow for our planes to fly over their Country, requiring a MUCH more difficult and dangerous mission. It was not just France.

Was thinking about this on my drive in to work today. These poor people are pawns in a war that WHO KNOWS why is REALLY being fought, yet so many people are getting slaughtered because of it. It just shows you what kind of people are pulling these strings. I hope they burn bright in hell.

I don't think Russia could defeat the entire EU. They are already weakened. I think the US needs to shit can NATO.
Good? All that will do is intensify the corruption. You will likely see a massive spike in 'aid' flowing from EU countries to Ukraine, then you will see a massive spike in 'donations' from Ukraine to 'foundations' of top politicians in those same countries.
My point is let Europe with their vulnerable borders take care of their own shit for a change. Even the cuckish British figured this out.

I think we need to realize that the majority of DC is not only compromised, but are happy to put America's safety and security at risk, for the right price.

Germany needs a bunch of tough love. They are like the child who went to rehab, drained your bank account, and now acts like we are their eternal trust fund. Time to cut them out of the will. TPTB aka Russian puppets put Julia in jail for promoting an independent Ukraine. That ship sailed and the west blew it. We are NEVER aggressive enough up front when we could head things off at the pass. (Taiwan is next and we blew it 20-30 years ago by being passive on the issue)
So the question is do you want Ukraine bribing western officials in pursuit of its independence or do you want it bribing western officials on behalf of Russia?
