9-9-9 plan

great man. RIP

So brave. So so brave.
I have seen Lewis' comportment in various congressional settings. I found him distasteful. I will let people celebrate his youthful endeavors and try to limit my criticism during this time of mourning. But frankly I could care less ;whereas, Mr Cain's totality of life was inspirational. He was affable and I cant think of any time where he was irascible in his demeanor. Choosing between the two who I would model myself after, it hands down would be Herman Cain. No need to be "brave." The dichotomy of conversation is a testament of how far this country has gone off the path of the American way and American dream.

Ever walk the streets of the inner parts of John Lewis' 5th District? I have. You better be brave.

Agree. He got the ever loving day lights beat out of him by the Selma police.

State police mostly. Most were "reserves" that were called in. My parents were raised in Montgomery and they were in their early 20's during the march. My great uncle was a reserve that was called in to "defend the bridge" but he could not stay once he got there and saw what was happening. He was 6'6" and a WWII vet so he was no coward but he wanted no part in what he saw happening.

Oh really? Are there not like 100 posts here started by somebody else making light of the virus as a “hoax” while 150k+ people die? Who’s being a tacky jerk...again?...yeah, you know....

God Bless the man, by the way...very sorry he lost his life due to this health crisis....

Lol

My parents had front row seats to the march once it arrived in Montgomery. Much like what we see today, there were two groups and they were very different according to my parents.

MLK's group was peaceful and organized and were entirely left alone (at least in Montgomery, no idea before). The second group was different and they were looking to make a statement in the "evening news." They were apparently successful in that endeavor.
