Please check the crackpot source of the request. This quasi scientific "physicians assoc." is listed as having ZERO employees, and self-proclaims to be supported by 5000 MDs. (non-verfified of course).
With over 1.1 million physicians in the US. that amounts (if you actually believe their numbers) to less than 1/2 of 1 % So what happens here is Solomon notes that the Gov. got this request from doctors to lend false cr3ed. Pathetic disinfo. BTW UF Shands hosp. does not use HCQ as protocol, but uses Remdesivr, which doesn't present the serious (fatal) side-effects of Trump's hunch - HCQ
There is a ton of fake news out there on CQ and HCQ.....but it’s not a Trump hunch, it was established in Italy and other countries before we started talking about it here

Last week the VA stopped using it noting it did not show any positive benefit used alone or with AZ. In fact they report worse outcomes. Today New England Journal of Med. says their study shows no efficacy. A cure would be great. This drug is not it. It was dangerous and foolish for Trump to tout this without science ( hence a hunch) to back it.
Please tell me you saw where the VA admitted they gave the drug when the veterans were in the last stages of fighting the virus off and that is was only an observational and not clinical study.... you know that, correct ??
Gilead Sciences directly participates in WHO trials of Remdesivir as a COVID-19 treatment.

HCQ / HCQ+AZ are prescribed by a doctor. They are not OTC and should not be used for self-medication. HCQ+AZ is the most common treatment. HCQ acts on its own but is much more effective with Zinc; AZ is an antibiotic and a source of Zinc.
