As a pulmonary and critical care doctor and the medical director over Critical care services at my hospital, I was one of the first to be vaccinated.

Feel great. Thank you operation warp speed and Donald J Trump without whom this would’ve taken another 2 to 3 years.

It’s an individual choice but I do highly recommend it if you’re a healthcare worker or in a high-risk group. Probably recommend it for the general population over 18 but that’s more open to interpretation. Everything I’ve read and talking to a few trusted friends on the inside, it’s an Amazing vaccine, great efficacy, very safe by industry standards.

Are you taking a follow up vaccine? Please share your symptoms if any

Is it true it is given rectally?

If so, is that why you feel good?

Kidding my man

I plan to. And I will certainly share any symptoms if I have any. Got it over an hour ago and feel great so far.

not a single side effect that I can see.......

What about those 4 test subjects who got Bell's Palsy from this vaccine?

Are you really questioning my word on whether I looked at the literature or not? I don’t appreciate you questioning whether or not I’m telling the truth about looking at the literature. I like and respect you, we may disagree with our interpretation of the literature, but I can assure you that I did review the literature and I recommend the vaccine as a pulmonary and critical care physician with extensive experience with coronavirus.

That said, I freely support everyone’s right to take or not take the virus and whatever consequences and Sue based off of that choice because I’m a big believer in personal liberty.

LOL missed where you said you read lit...was more a rhetorical statement BUT my main point was since you have read the lit and done other homework (my assumption based on respect for you opinion not a claim of skepticism) IS there any truth to the fertility claims?

Oh and which vax did you take?

My apologies if I miss interpreted your intentions. The only vaccine available in the United States today is the Pfizer vaccine. I am not worried about the fertility claims based off of what I read. There’s a lot of hyperbole out there about these vaccines. That said, anything you put in your body has a risk, consequences, and potential side effects and your choice to take it or not take it should be a personal one based off of your own understanding and knowledge.

Facebook tells me your DNA is now a 5G antenna and the Gov't is free to track and control your every movement.

I expect very soon you'll turn on many of us "conspiracy" theorists and shout us down for not supporting President Biden.

Based off of zero research total speculation and not from reputable medical sites but you do what’s best for you. I’m kind of required to take it.

And I’m politely asking for a report back. Look if Gates hadn’t said at TED conference a few years back that they can reduce the world population thru vaccines I wouldn’t be concerned. But he did. Freudian slip or not. Personally I just don’t trust him or Fauci. Seem like elitist weasels to me Is all. I’m not denying their intelligence just questioning how much they care about normal people not as successful as them.

Maybe in the 1st world. But it seems his vax programs have been set more on the developing world no?

I’ve been meaning to ask you doc. Do you think our advancements in terms of hygiene and living standards in this country over the last 100 years could’ve eradicated a lot of these outbreaks we vax for? Our standard of living and hygiene has come a long way in the last 100 years which is when vaxes came into play. Is it fair to ask if a higher standard of living and understanding of hygiene could’ve effectively helped eradicate these outbreaks without vax? Truly appreciate your insight doc!

Up to the point yes. The combination of better hygiene better nutrition, so to speak, better medicine all help prevent outbreaks. But without the vaccines there would be measle outbreak‘s, there would be whooping cough outbreaks, they would be months, there would be Meningitis outbreaks. And we would lose probably several thousand people a year without vaccines and the real tragedy is most of them would be young. We should never underestimate what Jonas Salk and other great pioneers of vaccinations have done for humans.

Unless you wanna make an overpopulation argument, then, well that’s a different sort of discussion, LOL

I see how you minute now. It read different in my mind first. Apologies for taking offense.

I have seen nothing proven or substantial about the fertility issues, it’s all theoretical, but I’ll let you know if @greyghost14 Wife gets pregnant after I bang her tonight.

We are below replacement levels anyway so of course they would focus on the third world where people are having kid after kid. Besides we get vaxxed anyway.

I usually get the flu shot and go another tetnus a couple of years ago when i stepped on something sharp in the garden and it went through my shoe into my foot.

This is new and had reports of palsy. But of most concern for me regarding my children is the claims of infertility.

Won’t work, she possesses a very inhospitable environment for development.

I heard something to the effect that, if you have bad allergies its not good to take. Well, I have bad allergies. What do you thing 1776?

If you have bad allergic reactions to vaccines then you should be careful about taking it. If you just simply have allergies then you’re probably better off taking it because that is a potential risk factor for more severe cases.

On a sidenote, do you know what the name Kentucky means in its original native American language?

land of tomorrow.

land of tomorrow.
Actually no. In the original language it translates into land of bad air. It has a very high concentration of pollen and the Native Americans knew that there were a lot of allergy problems for those that lived in Kentucky.
