So I wanted to circle back to a very valid point that Sunny keeps bringing up, the idea that we have a 'two-tiered' justice system in place. A lot of people share this sentiment, and it's why a lot of people, while hopeful that the corruption ends in DC, are adopting a 'I'll believe it when I see it' stance.
Understandable. But I think Trump has a plan for this.
Think back on all the key firings/resignations that have happened in the last 2 years under Trump:
Comey
McCabe
Yates
Page
Strozk
Priestrap
Ohr
Rosenstein
About 30 or so key firings/resignations.
Almost ALL of those people worked for either the FBI, or in the DOJ. Almost ALL of those people were in very SENIOR positions.
What does the FBI do? It conducts domestic INVESTIGATIONS.
What does the DOJ do? It PROSECUTES domestically.
Trump is removing the corrupt people from the FBI and DOJ who were in charge of investigations and prosecutions.
At the same time, he is investigating corruption within the FBI and DOJ. And Hillary's emails, and the Clinton Foundation.
Who is handling these investigations and any prosecutions that would arise? US attorneys located OUTSIDE WASHINGTON DC. Trump knows that the courts in DC are just as corrupt as everything else in DC, so he's bypassing them by having his AG hand off cases to US Attorneys who have power to bring indictments in EVERY US state.
Speaking of courts, Trump is pushing through a record number of federal judges. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the most liberal court in the land, had 19 Dems and 6 Republicans when Trump was elected.
It's on pace to Republican MAJORITY by 2020.
The plan is simple:
1 - Remove the corruption within the FBI, DOJ, and court system.
2 - Put honest people and judges in place
3 - Investigate the corruption
4 - Prosecute the guilty
5 - One-Tier Justice System For All
