Is there any gator fan out there that still questions whether Mullen was the right hire?

I want recruiting to get better but he has definitely shown he can attack weaknesses of the opponent really well. Maybe with the right QB he can get us to the very top again.
I think we could be true contenders in year 3 if Jones is the real deal. I think Georgia will have too much talent for us next season most likely.

I'm concerned about Grantham as long term DC. I'm sure the kids like flying around and playing aggressive, which a huge improvement over Randy Shannon's bland, passive style. Time will tell.
Grantham is better than most. I don’t have a problem with his aggressiveness. He does have moments where his run defense is bad. I love his passion and intensity.
I like him too, personality wise. He is like the picture of a stereotypical D-Coordinator one would find next to the word in the dictionary or on Wikipedia. He would be the typecast in movies for D-Coord.......heated, intense, cursing, veins bulging, beer belly, visor, redneckish, blitzing Madden game style.
His throat slash at the Gator kicker was a classic.
Another reason I like him, a Man of the People.
Blue collar, country, meat and potatoes, lunch pail, redneck, hillbilly, Golden Corral buffet eating, deep sea salt water fishing, Budweiser swilling, Skoal dipping, Virginia Ham baking, Wal Mart velcro sneaker wearing, heart attack waiting, beer belly hauling, son of a gun.....a dying breed, a True American.
