.. why Davis got the unsportsmanlike call after the second INT? He was running across the field and celebrating a but but it didn’t seem that egregious?

That’s what I was asking. Didn’t see him do anything but run back to the sidelines with his arms out. The coaches were pissed so I assumed there was something more than what I had seen, and if he ran to their end of the field and started dancing that would do it

Gotcha. That’s just a stupid penalty. Seriously, how can you get called for that in that situation

He earned that one. Intercepted on one sideline and ran all the way to the other end of the field celebrating. That was after he spun the back in front of the ref. So damn dumb.

Actually it had nothing to do with celebrating or where he did it. If you go back on ESPN replays and watch the telecast from the skycam, the camera followed him along and as he was running across the field, he spiked the ball. Spiking the ball in college is ALWAYS going to get you a personal foul. You can't see it on the normal telecast because it didn't have the angle on him, but from the skycam, as soon as he spiked the ball as he was running, the flag flew right over to where he threw the ball down.

Wow. What a complete jacka$$ move! We were still behind at that point with a new QB and he had to cost us 15 yards?
