I don't really follow women's basketball but what do you guys think about this? Is it true? New? Old? What's the inside scoop? I know the national media at times gets things right but also at times blows things out of proportion.

I have to say when he left for “personal “ reasons right after a contract extension I was worried it was something like this. I’m hoping the complete truth is uncovered and appropriate action taken whichever way it goes.

I believe Stricklin should take accountability for hiring him. He was even given an extension. Whoever becomes the successor, he/she's got a lot of nads.

I wish that was all I had to go through just in my highschool days. Damn, between my facemask being grabbed and a chin strap across the helmet, not counting other things that were normal into bringing up a real man.

I think the "extension" was more about rewriting escape clauses for the UAA than a contract extension for a raise or to keep him.

Oh sheite. I forgot we are talking about a woman sport. Oh well, equal opportunity.

Women's BB has been the absolute worst sports program in UF athletics for decades and as woke as UF has become, this is surprising to me that the administration has downplayed this mess like they have. Maybe there has been some exaggeration on the part of some of the athletes, but to come from so many different ones tells me they have enough validity to have warranted this guy's firing sooner. And to just promote an assistant who was there the whole time seems stupid. I'm not a fan our our new AD. He doesn't seem to have the guts, awareness and vision of Jeremy Foley. But they need to wipe the slate clean and start over with women's basketball, IMO.

I agree about this being a mess, and starting over is certainly the best course, but this is a tempest in a teapot. He didn't sexually abuse any of the women, he yelled at them and was mean. I hate it when the media uses the term "allegations" for things that aren't criminal offenses. They should be called "accusations". Was he mean? Yes. Did he violate the law? I don't think so. If the worst thing you can say about him is he threw a basketball at someone, well, in basketball you throw the ball to each other. It's a thing called passing. So while he needs to go, it's not for anything other than being a crappy coach.
