This defense is trash no matter what players are in. Always leaving guys wide open.
The 3rd down issues can’t completely on player and talent deficiency. When players are wide open it has to fall back on coaching, also.
Yep it's been clear all season the players are lost playing what the coaches are running on defense.

Also, y'all calling for Toney's head are the same ones that screamed it was Billy's fault that AR wasn't running, even though you were told over and over that he was calling reads and AR chose to just sacrifice his running back to 9 men fronts.

AR with wide open receiver in the flat with the nearest defender 13 yards away elects to throw it in the bleachers. That's why he's not a true QB.
I appreciate why they are recruiting defense so hard and I get it. But week after week this staff runs the same defense and it doesn’t work. Try anything else is all I am asking. Field zone defense, 3-5-3, anything.
Exactly. Crowd the line of scrimmage and bring the heat. He will throw some picks. But we won't do that. Maybe the occasional delayed blitz is all we do. Will just sit back play bend and break.
Yep our best chance with him is he will at least start keeping the ball some like today. He probably will never be an above average passer.
Are u really surprised? It's happened many times now. This "play scared" play calling is but one reason why we won't get over the hump if things don't change. We dont have good play calling on either side of the ball.

Have you even looked at the DEPTH CHART? Defense has MORE Freshman and Soph than Jrs and Seniors on the field. I told you all the NEXT TWO years are going to shock you all.
Offense is much better when Richardson is running.
Because the Coaches told him to do this for a reason. He wants him to grow as a passer. If he just runs and runs and runs he will get nowhere as a passer. Richardson cannot even read a defense yet he has some way to go.
AR almost always makes the right read. Reading defenses isn’t an issue at all. His biggest issue rn is accuracy. Not sure where this whole “can’t read defenses” stuff comes from. Emory couldn’t (and can’t) read defenses. That’s never been AR’s problem
But when there is no one to throw to that’s just dumb. Take your profit however it presents itself.
