I like that the game is at seven. Should be a little cooler which I think benefits Puk. He cant dink and dunk them a lot because they are patient. I like that they have a lot of lefties in the lineup. I think that helps. Puk is so unpredictable. If I am Sully I tell him we want his best five innings. Give me everything you got for five innings. Don't put the stress on him to go deep in the game. I think that might let him loosen up and throw better. Our pen is also well rested. Dunning can throw, Singer, Moss, Snead, etc. I also think Sully would potentially throw Anderson 7-8-9 depending on where the lineup is at the time.
Similar to yesterday I think a couple early runs will be crucial. If we get up on them 2, 3, or 4 then I think the pressure will continue to hit them. If Rivera, Reed, or Jj could even have a decent game then we could put some runs on the board. I cant imagine they continue to throw Alonso pitches. Someone else will need to beat them. I would also be more apt to bunt tonight to get a couple early runs. FSU infield hasn't been stellar either. Put them in some tough spots.
I assume we are the home team tonight but I have no idea how all that works.
