Gasoline now $2.12 - right on track

Gas was $2.19 in Jax for about 3 days, down from $2.35. Just yesterday it rose back to $2.45.
I filled up at BJ's Buyer's club yesterday on Atlantic and Kernan for 2.05 but it's generally 20 cents or more a gallon LESS than the cheapest retail. It's probably gone up since yesterday.

CenTex saw 87 Octane at $1.74 on Election Day. My neighborhood Stripes is back to $2.09 from $2.15. Murphy's Walmart is cheapest I know at $1.97. New Walmart is $2.03.

EO drilling ban on federal land. I just filled at Murphy's Walmart for $2.05. Exxon and Texaco on Hewitt Drive just joined Shell at $2.19 for regular.

What is this, twitter?

What makes you think anyone cares what you pay for gas.

Do you think it has anything to do with who is president ?

Absolutely it does lol do you seriously think it doesnt? Im curious. You think biden making EOs and banning drilling, shutting down the keystone pipeline, etc dont have ANYTHING to do with it.... When Trump was president gas was below 2 dollars damn near the entire time. Its not that gas is expensive tho, its that when gas gets expensive, so does everything else because it costs more to delivery it.

Spot prices for oil drive gasoline retail. When futures go up, so does retail. The issue I've got is that under Xiden gasoline prices will go up regardless if the oil companies make a profit or not. Bad policies will lead to higher production, refining, and delivery costs. Used to be the way to offset the pain at the pump was to buy oil stocks. That ain't gonna work under Biden.
