Desperation isn't more apparent for FSU right now than this pleading for $20 million in sales-tax economic development dollars to repair Doak Campbell stadium. Such a project wasn't even on the radar when the 10 year referendum was placed on the ballot a few years ago. It passed 9-3. I truly wonder if those 3 commissioners who opposed it will be politically damaged by having the audacity to think such taxpayer dollars should go to creating jobs in the private sector here in Tallahassee.
