It is all a ploy to avoid a losing season.
Beat UVA and Duke to hopefully be 4-6, schedule a creampuff game on 12/12 to get to 5-6, then a Gasparilla Bowl matchup with Tulane gets them to 6-6.

We need him to get enough leash so that he can be replaced with Prime Time, which will take a couple of years, as Prime Time is coaching for the first time this year.
A Clemson lineman showed symptoms all week after returning from a visit home during their bye week. According to Clemson, he tested negative twice within their protocol, but when he had to take the required third test from an independent lab, he tested positive. Meanwhile he was never quarantined and practiced all week, sat in meetings, and ate with the team. And, he flew on the team plane.
They got the results last night after they landed in Tally.
It's entirely probable that there will be more Clemson players testing positive this week, or next.
FSU medical folks strongly recommended the cancellation once the Athletic Dept. was informed. The liability factor couldn't be ignored. So it was postponed - after Clemson was offered a Dec. 12 makeup date. Everyone expects that FSU would still lose, but this is a year where cancelled games are a huge financial hit so they'd like to play the game. Both teams are open on that date.

What does the fact that it happened to help out Trask have to do with the fact that fsu is scared to play Clemson? Mom you're losing it.

I get it, but while it was cause and effect, it was not intentional. The only intent by fsu was to be fsu and a run skerred.

Clemson offered to rapid test all team and staff members while in Tallahassee and move the game back a few hours or another day or two for the results to come in and FSU said no.

I've been running through these boards off and on since 1997. If he is the one I'm thinking about he owned his detail shop in or near Tally. It started on an old independent board when some dude named FSU Nole 1 aka Kevin or something like that tried to "expose" him by downing his profession. Come to find out Kevin was a mall cop/rent a cop who's best income was working the gates at the stadium in Jacksonville. He never could join the Sheriff's Department due to failing the mental evaluations.
I use to do recruiting corresponding reports for the old timers such as Newberg, Emfinger, and ol Forrest Davis. Even for the Vol Brent Hubbs. Basically report stats and news from prep players in my area and surrounding areas. Friday's became more important than caring what some teenagers did. It was fun while I was young but later became boring.
