Couple things I thought were interesting.......
1) He said that he thought coach went a little overboard but then he said he also understood that the coach has a job to do and he was sure that Kelvin and coach would talk and work it out. Then they played the audio of the rant and he said it was first time that he had heard the audio. He kinda played both sides of the fence again. Said that coach shouldn't have tested his manhood. Then once again said that the coach is tasked with a tough job of trying to clean up the program and he was sure that they would work it out.
2) Mentioned the playing 3 running backs thing. Said that it is hard for the running backs to get going when they are swapping so many. He said 2 was one thing but 3 was tough.
3) Talked about the only time a coach tested his manhood. Said that Bobby Bowden came to his house and propped his feet up on the table and his grandmother didn't like it. He called coach Bowden to tell him he was swapping his commitment over to UF and Bowden said that a real man didn't change a commitment. Something to that effect.
Overall I thought he balanced it well. He said that Kelvin had to be smarter and not do stuff like that to put his team in bad positions. He mentioned that they ended up scoring a TD after that due to field position they gained. I thought he was a normal parent that took up for his kid but also said he understood. He was laughing and joking so I didn't think he said anything out of line.
