Too bad for him. The way he's been getting hit the last year and last night something was bound to happen.

FSUs season is now over

Yep. Its hilarious listening to all these moron fsu fans. "Next man up", "this might be a good thing" jesus christ where do these people come from. We jus became a 5 loss team ez

I always feel bad for these kids, regardless of team. They prepare all year and then this happens. Not sure you are as bad off as 5 losses, but yes, national title contention is a thing of the past. Although Urb won a title with a third stringer. Maybe Jimbo has that kind of backup

That is true. I think our best chance is to take the water boy route. Take a knee on every play. Dont even punt

Might turn out to be the most bizarre game in the series in a long time.

"Well, we're here in the 14th overtime and somehow we're still tied at a stunning 2-2."

I'm not sure what Jimbo is going to do with a true freshman QB and no Dalvin Cook, but if Bethune Cookman managed to hang 13 on Miami (and that was with BCU giving up two turnovers) we should at least be able to keep things respectable. Hopefully, he can get those turnovers under control. Last night was a competitive game until FSU got swapped out with the Keystone Cops right before Halftime. Aside from the turnovers, I'm concerned that one of Saban's minions observed a weakness in how Francois was reading the defense and made some adjustments during halftime. They were psyching him out for the last two quarters. Hopefully, he won't be too traumatized.

I think he already has David Carr Syndrome.

And getting a knee blown out in the first game? After his first season being brutal?

I have serious doubts if the guy isn't forever ruined, physically and mentally.

I got EJ Manuel vibes from him last night. He potentially has a high ceiling, but when he loses confidence, he starts making mistakes, which gets him even more rattled, and then he goes into a death spiral.

Francois is the least of my worries when he plays. Hes not Jameis or anything but he makes plays, takes it serious and plays really hard. He will make mistakes but he is a top 10 qb in college. Without him.....good lord this is gunna get interesting

I had a feeling last year he was going to get injured considering all the hits he was taking. Didn’t expect him to last this long. Sorry to hear any player get injured.

The funny thing is it wasnt even a brutal hit. Just a freak accident. I dont think this happened because he got worn down or anything. His cleat got stuck in the turf as he was rolling. Jus sucks for him.

That's usually how it happens though. Some guys will take crazy hit after crazy hit and keep getting up then get seriously injured on a routine hit.

It's the same thing with car wrecks. The ones that don't look so dramatic, while it happens, seem to be the ones with the most serious injuries -- something to do with the energy not getting dispersed away from your body.

I'd happily give you a slightly used Zaire,,,, for free. No trade in needed... ;)

Ga Tech #'s in full death spiral like the whiny FSU fans he so loves. The freshman may be terrible to start but he may be lightning in a bottle over time. The defense is really good. I still feel confident FSU beats Miami and UF. Not so confident on Clemson or Louisville.

I don't think Blackman will be terrible. Just need to simplify the offense. Not sure if Jimbo wants to do that though. We have playmakers so just get them the ball.

Sorry to hear, feel bad for the young man.
It was a very even game except for the few special team lapses. Not sure why they had a freshman DB in their single coverage against all-world Ridley? Finally, I thought the hit on Francois was a little dirty. He aimed for the legs; that was ok, but the roll over onto his knee I thought was deliberate.

The TD Ridley was a blown coverage. He was supposed to have safety help over the top but Lane bit on the play action.

I don't think the hit was dirty.

why do people still predict games months in advance, especially after seeing just in week one how many teams took death blows at major positions alone...

Hate to see any young man go down with season ending injuries regardless of team. Hope that he can return next season without any lingering affects.
