Is there anyone that or a place that former Gator players can go to for help??? I have a dear friend that I grew up with by the name of Ricky Knight.. He played during the Hall days as a Free Safety.. His brother also played as a corner back in the day. Well, Rick has really gone down a bad road that he can't seem to get out of making bad decisions. He lost his job. Went to drinking and lost his family because of it. Has gone from house hold to house hold, to the point that family, friends want help. He now lives on the street and has lost his left foot because of a girlfriend and people that now surround him.
My heart just goes out to him for a person that had so much promise athleticly but did not get an education. I really believe he has a learning disability and back then no knew how to figure out his problem....
Need prayers for him first, then some advice if any to try and help him....
