UGly's HC Smart, says that coaching can't fix bad or lowly ranked (star) recruits.
This means that firing coaches won't fix a thing, they need to yank the ships from all of the under performing players too.
And a good next step would be to also dump any current recruits that are not in the top of the 4-5 star rankings now. I expect that everyone knows that the crappy 2-3 star QB's like Dak-Fitzgerald-Trask won't ever be worth a chit as college players, much less make it to the Pros....

Got the DC and Offensive Line coach, but not Mullen. UF should have just sucked it up and cut ties.
Mullin gets another year or two (I think). We are in this mess because Mullen didn't fire Grantham last year. Firing Mullen will set the program back to FSU's current mess.
Problem with it is, how do you find a Good DC (coach and recruiter) with the possiblity that Mullen could be gone, which would also put your job in jeapordy, in a year?
Muschamp ain't real busy these days. I'd kill to have him back as DC. I think he's doing some minor stint at UGA now. He ain't gettin that job anytime soon, unless that DC moves on to a HBC job somewhere else.
