Florida/UNF Basketball thread

of COURSE it's career night for lefty single handedly keeping them from getting wiped off the floor with all of their points, lmao it never stops against the Gators. Steph Curry cape for a night only

Overall good game so far. Florida leads 26-17 and getting UNF in foul trouble. Kasey Hill with no assists and two turnovers and two points. Chiozza with one assist and no turnovers.

Now up 29-20 with 3 minutes In the first half. Finally out rebounding a team. Chiozza continues to dish assists and Hill finally got one

Chiozza is playing lights out along with the entire offense, can't play any better than that in a half offensively... I can't believe this team hits FT's so much better this year

Agreed. I hold my breath when we got to the FT line. Yet we keep knocking them down. All up and down the line up

Hill sat down due to turnovers for six minutes. Was put back in, had a nice steal and dished the ball backward for a nice assist.

can't play any better than that offensively, need to see what they can do against FSU and duke... its ridiculous we still have no home games til like halfway through the season...

Hopefully this will help us later in the year

Numbers, you realize the O'Dome is being renovated, and that is why we do not have any home games until late December?

You can't do a 64 Mil upgrade on the O-Dome and have games there at the same time. We all knew this was in the coming schedule, so 'ridiculous' doesn't apply in this case, imo. About 3 more weeks away from the update being completed.

obviously, that doesn't mean it's not a bad break for us...
Agreed. But it has not hurt us yet. It might help, both in the seeding process and the ability of these players to perform well no matter what the venue might be.

Long known about and planned for is also not a 'bad break' for the Gators.
I'd just call it an inconvenience that hasn't had a negative impact so far, and it might actually be a plus when everyone looks back on the 2016-17 season.

Dude, take a deep breath and smile once in a while,,, it has good face value. :)
