Finally some GREAT news!!

Thinking on this....I have no idea how this guy keeps getting raises. Blown out by a bad UF, beat by a mediocre USCe, and then beat at home by GT. 9-3 is worthy of a raise? Man. I'll never ever root for losses but I guess it's somewhat of a good thing we went 6-5. Because with how much Foley admired Muschamp I'm pretty sure if we had gone 9-3 he'd still be here, at that point we'd be stuck in a cycle of mediocrity just like UGA. Because I'm positive Muschamp could have gone 9-3 with the occasional 10-2 on a regular basis just like Richt.

Yeah, we were dangerously close to becoming Uga.
For the last five years, we have been worse.
True, but I also wouldn't want to win 9 games every year for 15 years and never sniff a national title and then keep on keepin' on with the same coach.

Passover ...UGA doesn't have the guts of Nebraska?...well since they have absolutely sucked for the last 15 years I got no problem with that.

I'm talking about the fact that Nebraska had the guts to fire Pollini. A coach that won no less than 9 games EVERY YEAR HE WAS THERE. He also won 3 Division championships in that time (2 co-champion, 1 outright).

Want to know what Richt was going at Uga during the same time period? 2 Division titles (1 Co and 1 outright) to go one 12 win season while also going 8-5 twice and 6-7 once.

Pollini has actually averaged more wins and less losses in the 7 yrs he was there than Richt in the same 7 yrs.

Instead of getting rid of Richt, Uga gives him raises and extensions (thank God).

Like I said, UGA does not have the guts to do what Nebraska did.
