2 days after corona flu is declared a pandemic, Trump declares a national emergency. 40 US deaths so far, no one under 50 has died.
6 months after swine flu was declared a pandemic, obama declared a national emergency. 1,000 US deaths had occurred.
If only Trump could act as fast as obama did and with such a heady grasp of the situation. Now THAT was real leadership!

Trump made a calculation early on that the virus would just run its course and didn’t want the pr hit that came with testing, so he sat on it. He thought he could bs his way through it, but the markets won’t tolerate it, so now he’s scrambling six weeks too late. Problem is, when the tests start coming back, the numbers are going to be bad, because we’ve been sitting around with our thumbs up our ass while everyone else has been fighting this thing.

obama made a calculation early on that the media could sell the 'there is no need to panic' narrative and he would never have to do anything. Cause he had no idea WHAT to do.
If Trump thought the virus would just run its course, he would have never banned travel to China in January. Also, that hurts the US economy, and you dems claim Trump only cares about business. So this proves you were FOS there as well.

But when we had an actual medical emergency with Swine Flu, the media lied to us about it, and obama was sitting on a couch with his fingers up his nose for 6 months (and 1,000 people died) before he got serious and declared a national emergency.
