Department of Public Health scientists in Connecticut discovered the flaw in the testing system manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific.

According to DPH scientists, the affected patients were tested between July 15 to July 17 and out of a total of 144 ‘positive’ tests, 90 were false positives!

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Laboratory tests are characterized by their ability to detect a positive case (sensitivity) and their ability to determine a negative case (specificity). So a sensitive test is less likely to provide a false-negative result and a specific test is less likely to provide a false-positive result. Test manufacturers and laboratories often report the “analytic” sensitivity and specificity of a test, which are based on the analysis of a set of known positive and negative samples. These numbers, however, represent the accuracy of a test under ideal conditions in which specimens have been collected from patients with either high viral loads or a complete absence of exposure. Sensitivity and specificity under real-world conditions, in which patients are more variable and specimen collection may not be ideal, can often be lower than reported numbers.

And we are changing America, going everywhere with masks, walking around constantly afraid all the time for this?

You Deniers crack me up. Where are all the people saying to ignore the rising cases, focus on the declining death rate. Well.......

Performed CPR yesterday on someone who overdosed on heroin. Sadly we were too late. If this person tests positive for Covid-19, what do you think the cause of death will be?

I'm not one who calls Covid a hoax. I don't believe that it is. However, statistics don't lie...but for damn sure statisticians do and something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

I’m not sure how it would be classified but those situations are so rare as to render them meaningless. It’s a nice deflection for those looking to minimize the pandemic. We’re closing in on 140,000 deaths, and increasing. How many do you think are falsely classified? What is the motivation? All of these hospitals got together Just to make Trump look bad? Come on, you’re smarter than that.

PS. Thanks for your service. Tough job.
