Ex fsu coach Jimbo gets 6-month Show Cause probation. Is fsu next?

Jimbo & aTm skated on these recruiting violations.

"...Fun fact: NCAA executive VP of regulatory affairs is Stan Wilcox. He provides 'strategic direction to enforcement.' Also happens to have been Florida State's AD when Jimbo Fisher left Tallahassee for A&M."

"...Headlines: "probation," "show cause" and a picture of Jimbo Fisher. Reality: No bowl ban, no scholarship cuts and punishment almost entirely behind A&M by January. All about the RTs and clicks."

My favorite comment from Jimbo -

"As Texas A&M’s Head Football Coach, I am responsible for promoting and monitoring for NCAA compliance in our program," the statement reads. "While I am disappointed in the violations,

including an unintended one that resulted from a conversation with a high school athlete
,

it is still my responsibility to ensure we are adhering to each and every rule."

I guess that all the other violations were intentional !
LOL

BS, probation used to mean you're not on TV. Probation comes after money and a few loss recruits. They normally have travel with 55-60 and 85 or more on the roster.
That was back before the days we live in now where the television networks (NETWORK) owns the sport as they fund just about most of it through conference network deals. ESPN has far more say so in what the NCAA does to these naughty schools than you could imagine. Taking them off the air doesn't hurt that school, it hurts ESPN and it's wallet.

That and Disney is as big as Microsoft

that was a good move to run him off and bring in Willie. One of the many reasons so many schools are chasing fsu.

That was the master plan, you see, you cant get to the summit unless you go down to the valley first. Jimbo was our first love, our college sweetie, we put a ring on it but it didnt work out. Willie was rock bottom (the stripper at 3am after she shot up the needles in her arm), now we are on the hunt for our wife and proper lady like Norvell.

Also, the assistant coach who was the main cheater, Jay Graham (now at Tennessee) gets one as well. It's becoming more clear as to why Tennessee has been recruiting better as of late.

Title should have read "SEC coach finally punished for cheating" :p

More like he called our bluff and we went, oh $hit, now what?

It was a good thing, because Candy ruined him and he was basically useless as a coach from 2015 on.

So a Gator ruined Candy, Candy ruined Jimbo and Jimbo ruined fsu football. Therefore, it goes that a Gator ruined fsu football!
