I'm not building a roster, hon. And I'm not interested in what team he's pitching for.

So let's see if this day plays out according to recent schedule:
1 - Begin day with 'update' on beds filled and reminder it could all be avoided if people would just consider the vaccine. No one has, but if everyone would listen to Dolittle, lives could be saved. No citation or source for the numbers, but trust him, he's an internet doctor.
2 - Post a few dozen comments about how other treatments don't work, you people aren't listening, please consider vaccines. Dolittle reminds us that dying sucks, please use your brains.
3 - Around noon, actual doctor checks in, and goes behind Dolittle and begins correcting misinformation he has posted about other treatments and vaccines.
4 - Dolittle becomes irate, says real doctor is fake doctor. Please consider getting the vaccines.
5 - Cheerleaders remind board that they would still be alive if they listened to Dolittle.
6 - Post-lunch update from Dolittle. No citation or source for numbers given. Reminder that this isn't political for him, it's about keeping people from dying. Reminder, on post 77, that he's exhausted, and doesn't need sympathy, he needs help.
7 - Cheerleaders thank Dolittle for his service, beg him for most posts. They shake their pom poms furiously in the direction of any poster that points out that if he would get off this board, he could actually do his job.
8 - Actual doctor begins to lead discussions on treatments and the reality of the situation around covid. Engagement and learning begins to happen.
9 - Dolittle returns with a heartbreaking update. Someone died. Please be sad, please pray. But first, get vaccinated.
10 - Posters ask for context and more information so they can better understand what happened.
11 - Dolittle becomes irate, reminds them that if they would stop asking questions and just get vaccinated as they were told, that they would still be alive today.
12 - Dolittle with a new thread pointing out that the patients that died are morons who didn't listen to him. He laments that it really upsets him that people aren't listening to him, and begs us to not be like the moronic parents that just had to bury their child cause the DAs wouldn't listen to him.

And that's okay. Unlike Dimtards, we do not walk lockstep with all things GOP. They do not encourage independent thinking, or using logic or common sense. Unlike them, we can agree to disagree on minor issues. I'm fine with Goldie, even if she does support our grifter of a Republican mayor. I don't begrudge her for that, knowing what the alternative choices were.
