I know ESD is the new hip thing to do but did any of these decommits plan on enrolling early? If so, the decommit makes sense but if not why not just stick it out until February and get to know the staff and show them to get to know you.
I know he isn't taking anyone ESD unless he either already evaluated them while at ULL or they are positions of need like OL/DL. NSD should be very interesting in February.
