I have no idea what I just read. It certainly wasn't in English.
Is he saying if one group of people get a discount or free tickets over another he will cancel the show?
He's saying if the venue where he is performing says only vaccinated people can attend his performance, then he reserves the right to cancel that performance.
And yes, Clapton has been vaccinated.
I don't think you understand what Clapton meant. Clapton is saying that if people are banned from attending without some Covid passport, he's not playing. At least that is what I think he's saying. I never understood the English anyway. My wife gets pissed off I won't watch an English movie because they talk with mush in their mouths. 🤣
Thank you, not sure why nailed in the head was struggling with that. And apparently, Clapton developed complications after getting his vaccination. The type of complications that some here in the 'medical' field claim doesn't exist.
I suspect that's a big part of the reason why he's against forced vaccinations. He knows the potential health risks first hand.
Clapton's statement is very poorly worded. He meant "discriminated against" (I am guessing here, the English are some oddly spoken ducks) 🤣
I'm currently reading Shelby Foote's account of the Civil War. I'm 2/3rds done. (about 3000 pages) It's amazing how even American English has morphed in the past 60 years......as it was written during the 50's and 60's. There is some stuff he wrote my collegiate English prof would have flunked him for......🤣
