I think what bothers some people (and I get it) is the lack of signing 2-3 REALLY elite players (in terms of ranking). Mac signed a solid class - if you are in the top 10-15 in the country you are doing some things right. That being said, I think we've all seen what a difference 1 or 2 elite players can make. They don't all pan out, but when they do it is a difference maker. Without Percy Harvin and Brandon Spikes Urban has a very solid recruiting class but does he win a NC? Probably not. Would love to see Mac pull in a couple of truly elites every year.
