Is Lingard hurt? He had been talked about as part of a 4-man rotation and last night we only used 3 guys.

I don't think so and I doubt the 4th guy gets many carries this season. Etienne on a few of those runs looks like he is the real deal. He has to protect the football though. I am curious to see how many carries Etienne will be getting by the end of the season.

Good for Emmitt’s son. As for UF Lingard is 4th string and with AR getting carries in this offense I doubt we see much of him unless one of Wright, Johnson or ETN get hurt.

I think Lingard was in for one snap, on the last play of the game in victory formation. I think he got the message his coaches sent him. He'll get his chance soon.

Could be wrong but I doubt he gets many carries short of an injury. I think the issue is like Miami said that he has speed but runs too stiff to be real good against good defenses. I guess Napier is aware of social media as RB is the only position on the depth chart showing 4 players now.

Another possibility is that, if you are planning to use three in the game, if somebody gets hurt early you might go down to a #4 guy, so you have that spot identified.
