On a serious note, I’m saying a quick prayer for those in The Bahama’s who are around the Eye Wall which is basically stationary or moving 1mph directly over them. I’ve been in Cat. 2 winds once and that was scary but, for awhile it was sustained winds of 285mph with gusts up to 225mph is just beyond scary. They say it’s like a huge constant EF5 Tornado over them. Can most shelters even handle that?
Also a prayer that Dorian stays away from Florida and the Eastern U.S. coast. We live over on the West Coast of Florida and It’s been a crazy few days. Bought a generator from Amazon that they said I’d get Today with my Prime membership and 4 days ago it was switched to Friday so I cancelled it. Anyone know the best generator to run A/C and a couple of refrigerators and some lights etc.? Budget under $2,000.

Definitely not like a 5 Tornado or nobody would survive it. Even strong built houses will be compromised by that wind sustained however not even counting all the crazy flooding.

I lucked out as we were in the direct path until the models suddenly changed a few days ago. My roof would have been gone probably at least.

Finally something we can find common ground on. It makes sadgator sickened to see what they are experiencing. Prayers to the Bahamas.
