I see both sides of the argument. He has improved the team and admin must think he can get them further. He hasnt done much against very good teams but one could argue he doesnt have his players yet(especially his qb). Mac has improved the team, do u think he can get u to the cfb playoff?

Well, considering that the vast majority of the so-called x-spurts didn't think that he could win more than 6-7 games in either of his first 2 season, and instead he won the SECe both years, I'd say that he has vastly exceeded the expectations, (which many seen to either forget or gloss over in their complaints).

And he's done that with the all the troubles at QB (Grier & TH) and then (LDR & Happyby). He's also had to deal with more injuries than the average, so I'm impressed with that much.

He still has time, but if he doesn't solve the long term QB issues, then in another year or two the 'shine' will start wearing off...

I like the committee approach at RB. I'd like to see as much of that as possible (other positions), for the the many reasons that I have listed in the past, injury protections being the primary one.

I don't feel that I need to be happy with every single one of his decisions, to give him general support in his overall job. So the simple answer to your thread question is YES I do...

I don't think an extension was prudent at this point because he hasn't shown that he can develop an offense. After this year we'd have a better idea of what we have.

I definitely think that you are an ignorant troll. I'm on the fence, leaning favorable as far as Mac.

I am not an "x-spurt" I am mostly here to troll and post funny cat pictures, but I am not happy with the fact we got our asses kicked by Bama two years running, and our kicker often scored more points than our offense.

There's no reason to have given him an extension, because if we get pounded by michigan again, and FSU the same type of fashion... we are in some shit, because if it happens again by year 3 and we see the same ol shit in other words from our offense from the last 8 years.. we will need to be moving towards another coach, not giving unproven ones extensions, these extensions never make any sense to me, it's not like he's going anywhere or anyone is trying to steal him away to a better school... These coaches never coach out the years on these things anyway and get canned or leave before about damn near every one of them even comes close to years of their deals anyway...

Doing this prior to the pivotal coming season was foolish. We still have very little idea what we actually have in Mac. Can he field a functional, let alone great, offense? Can he recruit at an elite level? Can he beat excellent teams?

Increasing a possible buyout before we know those answers was dangerous.

I think a complete and utter moron who failed out of high school and is wrong on a daily basis. We all have opinions of each other

Extension was silly, most everyone agrees extensing from 2021 to 2022 before the always key 'year 3' was dumb. That said, its means nothing.

No, Mac is not the guy to get us to the playoff for the exact reason you mention, he doesn't beat, let alone compete with, the elite teams.

Mac's ceiling is a Mark Richt, which is not a playoff type coach
