DC is fat and loves to eat. So my birthday is somewhere between today and fathers day. I will be getting Carrabas take out for the birthday The Linguine Pescatore and probably Calimari.
For my anniversary , also this month, I made Chateaubriand along with Chateau Potatoes, Sauteed Mushrooms and a Salad.
But I wanted to share with you what I had for Valentines Day as a possible Fathers Day idea.
You need a cut of Tenderloin or RibEye
Use Cavender's Greek seasoning to dust it and then put it in a ziplock bag. Marinate with white wine and soy sauce. Use equal parts if you are grilling and slightly less wine if you are using Sous Vide and cover the meat. Marinate for at least a couple of hours if grilling. If Sous Vide remove as much air as possible and stick it in the bath right away.
Sous Vide at 130 for 2 hrs. Remove, reapply the cavenders and sear on the grill.
