I don't. I want him to keep being Trump 100% of the time. If you tell him to stop picking 'battles' for fear that he might pick a bad one sometimes, then you are throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Pubs need to just accept that Trump is who he is and STOP TRYING TO CHANGE HIM. Yes, he is going to occasionally pick a bad battle. Yes, he is going to occasionally do something that embarrasses you.
He's also going to be the most productive and consequential President in at least 175 years if we will only GET OUT OF HIS WAY.

I absolutely did. It was a thoughtful reply from Elon. He even took several moments to consider those comments in the clip. The pause was pregnant as hell.
I didn't say that a person could never say something unpopular or challenge convention. I said no one can be successful if they just say whatever pops into their head at any given moment. Pick your moments and your battles wisely.

Speaking of picking you battles wisely, I don't think it's very wise to try to change any of these men. And given how insanely successful each of them are, I don't see why anyone would want to risk screwing up the 99% you love, to try to get rid of the 1% you don't like.

I have zero issue with him challenging the status quo or even saying unpopular things. I do believe that he, and by extension you and I, would be better served if he used more discretion sometimes.
Just be thoughtful and intentional...just like Elon was in that clip. That isn't too much to ask. JMO
