Well yeah. Haven’t you seen all those studies proving this is the most contagious version of the plague?
While the Delta variant is currently highly contagious but it’s probably because it’s a new strain with enough mutations to make it easier to get. But then again coronavirus was incredibly infectious too. Nice thing about the Delta variant is it does tend to be more mild which is why, though we have seen a surge in every hospital, it’s not been as bad as it was the first two times thank God. Still got about 10 people on life-support out of which probably eight will die which is unfortunate because had they been vaccinated they probably would be OK but such is life.

Good information doc. My issue is we still have folks (politicians, media, medical community) saying stupid stuff, like this is “more contagious version”. I want to know how they know that? What are they basing it on? Again, if these folks would just treat folks like adults, then there wouldn’t be so much distrust.
This Pandemic has given “science” a bad name. Because “science” has been thrown out the window.
Politics should never be involved in science and science should never trump common sense politics. What we have seen with COVID with the 24 hour news cycle and Trump hatred has greatly influenced the reporting of science to make it about as credible these days as the news agencies themselves.
Unfortunately, I believe politics has been at play in science for a long time, this just ripped the bandaid off. Normally I would say the truth getting exposed is a good thing, but folks don’t care about truth any longer.
