I'm in an Emergency Room as I type this. It's very different from where you are. Over half the ER rooms are empty and they are admitting patients as normal like the man next to us who had a stroke.

I'm not a doctor but there are two very large "intubation rooms." Neither is occupied.

I asked the RN, "how have you guys been so far with the delta variant?" She said, "so far, no real change for us."
