I know it's been discussed quite a bit, but I think we are starting to see the fruits of what Mac started about a year ago. I for one have always been on the side that stars do matter and still am purely from a statistics standpoint, but the fact that our commits are being consistently listed as top performers in these all-star games (not just UA but the local ones as well), and the fact that kids we were on early such as Perine, Myers and Joseph to name a few are getting looks from the other top programs really has me excited. The 5 stars are necessary IMO to build championship teams, but so is the ability to find quality depth and players who develop into 4-5 star college players. If this staff can show the ability to close on some of those high 4-5 star prospects, combined with what they've shown thus far in terms of identifying the "other" talent, look out. Going to be a fun January. Go Gators.
