No socks! My kind of guy.

Win or lose...right.

I wonder how long it will take before Mac is under fire from the "fan base"

I give it less than one season.

I wonder how many people will support him relentlessly if he struggles mightily for four years.

Michi is already saving up to buy wood for the gallows.

Well, even if he does fail historically and spectacularly by going 28-21 (he won't), at least Mac won't act like a petulant a$$hole caveman all the time, which will be refreshing.

So you're saying he is Bobby Bowden?

Bowden was indeed a character. sadgator misses him in an odd sort of way.

You need to have fun characters in college football. Will is just Will. Nothing more or less. Jimbo is pretty boring too.

Mac has a little edge to him. We'll see how he carries it off as we move forward, but sadgator suspects that he is going to be entertaining.

I always got the impression that muschamp was a bit in over his head, so he didn't really have any extra resources to apply towards charisma or style. Rarely saw a sharp wit or "edge" from him. I think it's a great sign that Mac seems to have a little extra something something going on.

When Muschamp did try to have a little edge it never seemed to go well....he was our Farva perhaps...

Well so far Coach Mac has not come out as an utter loser and failure as muschamp was! Winning is great and that is what he is here for but not being a moronic loser, fighting with fans, throwing players under the bus will also go long way before he is under fire from fan base.

Only losing was not the issue at least not to me, it was having a gutless and characterless loser running the program to ground with out an accountability was the issue. I am sure that wont happen this time around.

Getting annoyed with the fan base doesn't make you a gutless coward etc.

Afterall, some of you guys can be pretty annoying and very vocal about your displeasure.
