Clemson vs OSU

The game just started. This was one where I was not sure which team I might want to win. I find myself rooting for Clemson. Not sure why.

Maybe the Urban Meyer influence. Maybe because I find OSU fans to be highly annoying, given my experience with them the few times my team played theirs.

But I am not sure I care too much either way

The game last night was the writing on the wall, the #2 ACC team doing michigan like that and now the much better ACC #1 conference champion against a team that got in solely for money purposes that didn't even win their division or play for their conference championship while Penn State beat this team and won the conference. They are irate right now

College football playoff committee is a failure on all levels. They suck. Osu and michigan are not on the ACC level.

Very surprised Louisville got thrashed by LSU. They havent looked the same the past 4 weeks they have played and i have no idea what happened to them.

The ACC is having a GREAT bowl season and Clemson was super tonight. They have the skill and attitude to play with, if not beat, Alabama. Last year's 45-40 game was one of the best big games I've ever seen. I expect this year's game to be more defensive, but I think Clemson has a decent shot to win.

I think Alabama wins by double digits. OSU was a fraud. Bama's lines are not. Clemson's offense did not look good. Ohio State may have passed Michigan State in the most embarrassing playoff display. I worry about Urban's health. I think it's in jeopardy.

I dont think so. Louisville has looked bad the past 4 or 5 games. They jus havent been the same. If they played LSU early season i dont think that would have happened. Its like they lost confidence or something. Teams go up and down thru out the year. No doubt LSU plays defense with tge best of them but im not buying thats all it was. LJ is too good to be held down unless he does it to himself.

OK. This brings up another question.

How did the Gator offense put up 16 on LSU's elite defense, while #3 ranked Louisville offense could barely muster half of that? Is Louisville overly dependent on a gimmick that was finally shut down? Maybe that explains their last four games.

I wanted Clemson to win because I think they are the only team that can beat Bama. Clemson really ups their game against good opponents for the most part - especially that defense.

Clemson's DL is legit. You have a line like that, you have a chance. Bama is a better version of OSU on offense, but not much better. Bama is going to struggle to score if the Clemson D front can hold their own against the rush. Hurts can't beat you with his arm.

Yep I think the Clemson defense will give Bama a bunch of trouble. They really show up in the big games.

Meyer definitely seems to benefit from a good oc. His players are so good it doesn't matter sometimes. When he has someone who knows what they're doing, watch out.

To be honest. He shoukd have been ejected from the game. That is straight up sexual assault. Jus becuz ur in a football game doesnt mean u can break the law. That dude is a sexual predator 100%

Im friends with an old gator Earl Everett and he told me meyers best attribute is motivation. Said hes very good with x and o's but motivation is what he does best. Said he prefers to have a good oc so he can have his hands in everything.
