QB: B
Frank's is a potential star and Trask more than likely gives us a long term back-up. Added an experienced player as a grad transfer.
RB: B+
Perine and Thompson are about as good as you can hope for in this class. 5* JUCO and a very talented between the tackles mudder.
WR: A
Numbers, quality and diversity. Not sure how we do any better here. Cleveland added on top of what's already on campus and Wells is just sick.
TE: F
Not a position of need so could be a no grade but man missing out on Eubanks late hurt.
OL: D+
Heggie was an important addition and Stone and Jawaan are solid. Missed on a quality OT and not enough numbers. Simpson was a big miss but not unexpected. Tatum and Perine would have been a big plus here.
ST: B
Eddie P was a straight up must. If he comes through this grade could be an A+. Dre Massey will be big at KR/PR.
DE: B-
Clayton almost pushes this to an A by himself. Jordan Smith had to develop but a lot to work with. Polite may surprise.
DT: F
No way to soften this one. Huge miss at a major position of need. Almost inimagunable that we miss on a highly ranked kid 2 years in a row.
LB: D+
Good numbers but no true star here. Joseph, Reese and Moon may surprise and I do like the potential but needed a Wilson or Jackson here.
DB: B+
Great numbers and a star in Gardner. I think Taylor was a great pull and was worried about the late flip. Lenton and McWilliams are quality but will need to develop. Burnett has all the tools.
Overall I would say a solid C+. Not enough stars to push it to a B but filled a lot of needs and has some star power buried in there at WR, QB, DE, DB and finally at K.
