Nope because if he announces he has a job at this time he loses out on all this years NFL payout owed to him, he will not decide until the season is over with and finish because he would loses millions…
the article didn't say when he would announce. it said that behind the scenes, his friends and former assistants are thinking he is picking UCLA based on their talks with him and the vibe they are getting.
All else being equal, I want Frost but I figured it was too risky to have to wait until 12/2 to MAYBE get him so I put all my chips in on Kelly, pun intended. If we do get Frost, then I will be ok with this Chip soap opera the past week and a half taking up way too much of my time and energy, lol. But if we end up with Strong or some 4th option, I'm gonna be pissed.Well I'll be, that kindergardener that I overheard had it right again....

I was against Norvell immediately from the beginning due to his age and having inherited a lot from Fuente but over time I may be able to swallow that hire. Lucky us, we get to see a nice Frost v. I just cannot see Chip Kelly going to UCLA because he wants to be very successful and it will not happen at UCLA. The best recruits are in fact statistically on the south central and east southeast coasts and many of them wil not want to go all the way to Cali to play football. Many young men want to stay close to home because it’s less stressful and they can go home on long weekends. I see Chip Kelly would want to go to a place where he knows he can have a good turnaround where he will get the best recruits and comparing FLORIDA vs UCKA there is no doubt the best recruits would go to Florida because many of them are right here in Florida. If he goes to UCLA he will not get the best recruits as they will go to Bama, Miami and Georgia. This is not my opinion but a statical fact. If he wants championships and be successful, Florida would be the better overall pick.
I didn’t say they didn’t have talent I said the majority is in the Deep South and Southeast and that’s a proven stat…My point is this where can Chip gain the best overall recruits that can most likely bring him success as in national chamionships and many other things? The way I see it is he tried it already in Oregon with many mid west and west coast recruits and it didn’t bring him that ring…Just my humble opinion…
And like somebody said if he loves the west coast so much why does he have a home on the east coast………
