One chief knelt. Some locked arms. Texans stayed in locker. Singers were AA females sporting Floyd and I suppose B Taylor on shirts. He was a criminal who died of an overdose. She was another victim of no knock warrants. Neither were killed because they were black.

Al Micheal's sidekick...the skinny idiot with the adams apple bigger than his biceps ...cant think of his name right now starts talking about SJ.

Another pasty white guy carrying water for a cause he is clueless about.

That was all I could endure.

Had to change channel but wanted to verify that the NFL has gone to sh&t with hectoring lectures from beta rich white males about the black condition in America.

Thank you for the cliffs. I would have puked

Here’s a great article

Beyond the Ratings a New Poll Shows Professional Sports Are in Real Trouble With Americans

If you listen close enough you can hear a guy yell "just play the game"

from the article:

"...
There also could have been fans who were booing being lectured to about the chaotic state of this world when they’re trying to find an escape from it.

One thing is clear, however.

No matter how good their intentions, the NFL runs a very real risk of alienating its fanbase by constantly lecturing to them that they need to be embracing social justice causes...."

THIS ^^^^^

Just shut ya mouth ya hectoring nannies.

Who were those 15000 some odd fans from KC? They should be ashamed of themselves. That stadium should have been empty! At least, one good thing was their booing. It was more than effective. I miss football already. We've waited a whole year for this and now, thanks to this NFL-created dilemma, I get to wait another year, maybe forever. And what's up with the damn protective face masks and such? Does anybody assume it helped? Hadn't all of those on the field been tested negative? Give it up already. Heck, even if I did succumb to watching, that alone is going to trigger me into an angry state.

And that's why I've been saying all along that it's the wrong venue to push this. It only divides and not unites. Thanks for standing up to the pressures Brees - NOT.

The hypocrisy of the left on this issue is astounding. They said the players have a right to express themselves, and that we have to respect that. Then when the fans do the very same thing, they scream about what awful people they are.

And they will be just as stunned with a Trump victory in 2020 as they were in 2016.

Just didn't feel like starting a new thread about this...

In other news,

National Football League (NFL) player Joshua Bellamy has been charged with fraud in an alleged conspiracy to steal millions of dollars in fraudulent coronavirus assistance loans.

According to the Department of Justice, after Bellamy obtained aa loan of $1.2 million, he purchased $104,000 in luxury goods including items from Dior, Bucci and jewelers.

Documents allege he also spent $62,774 in loan money at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and withdrew more than $300,000.

The complaint claims Bellamy also sought loans on behalf of family members and friends and worked with co-conspirators in exchange for kickbacks.

NFL Player Charged for Role in $24 Million COVID-Relief Fraud Scheme
NFL Player Fraudulently Obtained $1.2 Million in Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program Loan

Bellamy has netted a few million bucks over the years in the NFL yet has to scam Kung Flu relief. Dumbass!

The libs don't GAS. The libs have a way of spinning what's going on.

Yes the libs' takeaway from this was that their fans are racist hillbillies that they need to keep rubbing their noses in it. They will double-down on the virtue-signaling and race-baiting, if anything.

Very pathetic when not one person here mentions the score of last night's game.

Well hell, I've been paying so little attention to the PFL that I didn't even realize that there was a game on, that I wouldn't be watching, even had I known...
😏

I nominate this as the 'POST OF THE YEAR'

The national anthem was a moment of unity, though it went w/o saying. Unfortunately, some NFL players chose to insert their politics into it & destroy that unity.
Does anyone honestly believe that smearing America as nothing but racists & then demanding "unity" was gonna fly? 🤓
