No kidding. The Owls were holding on almost every play, they got away with at least 4 helmet to helmet hits that I saw, and the spots for UF were atrotious.
Those clowns were just awful both ways. A 60 yard punt return called on a non existent block in the back, a backwards fumble called an incompletion, chop blocking the entire first half, etc etc.

They couldn't even keep the right downs on the field.

Lolll, suuuure thing. The 2nd and 3rd down calls that the refs blatantly swallowed their whistles on were atrocious. On 2nd down the d back was pulling his shoulder back for a few seconds. Andre Ware couldn't believe it.

Why is it that the team that gets the HUGE break(s) right at the end to gift the the W always feels the need to "justify" it in their minds by pointing to a few other calls throughout the game that they get "screwed" on? It's because you know the truth, that was pure bulls**t.

Lets not forget the block in the back on the big punt return. I always thought you had to actually touch a guy before it could be called a block, but evidently it's enough just to be near him when he falls down.

Nobody is saying on 2nd down they didn't miss a call. What you might have missed if not for screwing the pooch the whole game there wouldn't have been an overtime.

And why is it that I've never seen you post here until now when you want to annoy everyone?

HAHAHAHAHA! Andre Ware couldn't believe it. Nice one. Yes, because he was SO impartial. I'm surprised he didn't go down before the start of overtime and fellate the Owl coach.

He has null logic. He thinks because of one hail mary at the end of a game it negates 6 blown calls affecting possession of the ball and at least a 28 point swing. "See 2003 Swindle".

Lol. So predictable. I knew there would be an "Andre Ware doesn't like UF" response. He went to Houston, not FSU. As if he cares about UF. And the thing about it is that he was right. You saw the game and know he was too.

Was it me or did they get 5 plays on the last series? I thought maybe a time out was called and the entire play ran in OT?

Gator fans can claim poor officiating I have no doubt. It goes both ways it was very obvious that on second and third down in overtime, in the end zone were both PI's that were not called. Put the ball on the two yard line FAU scores and most likely wins the game. It's not as if this was an 11-0 CUSA team, this was a 2-8 CUSA team that UF should have lost to at home.

Before this game I thought UF was going to roll FSU, now I don't know. What I do know is the SEC is very overrated and really only has one good team.

Unlike FSU and Miami, who nobody really hates except each other, this nation is full of Gator Haters.

But then, you are only hated if you are relevant...

See, if you understood anything about football, you could have watched the game and seen that there was no PI, just good defense.

IF.

How about they suspend their chitty NCAA officials for 365 days when they make a mistake?
Seems like that would be fair to me.... o_O

Instead we get to be abused again, and again, and again, with seemingly no consequences to them at all...
They claim that they are 'GRADED' on their calls, but they must be grading on a huge 'CURVE' for them to still be out there calling games week after week...

PS

Purdue shot better and would likely have won anyway, but those game officials hosed the Gator's too... o_O

I watched the game re-play 2 times on slow-mo and saw, IMHO, at least 8 cut blocks on FAU that were not called. Not sayin' our guys are saints, but cut blocks get people hurt, and those blocks should have been called. Georgia Southern beat us with the same kind of crap but they had a very underrated team. Hate playing teams that run triple option, wishbone, or other gimmick offenses. Even playing Navy or Air Force would be a nightmare for us.
