"Ok 'sadgator,' this is the week you clean out the garage, right?" (mrs. sadgator folded arms/tapping foot/slight scowl)

What will your weekend entail? Which game are you most interested in? Not many "big" games. UT @ Bama is always somewhat of interest.

I too have been told I need to clean my garage. Which for me is GREAT!!!! Have my TV out there. Can relax and tidy up a few things without any "help" :D

Probably gonna grill out. I get way to worked up by UF games, so it'll be nice to watch games all weekend stress free for once. I didn't watch any of the late games after we lost last weekend when I almost always stay up till 2 am watching the late Pac 12 games.

I'm torn on that game. I want either Ole Miss or A&M to win the West because I feel we matchup with those two best of all the West teams should we face them in the East. I want Bama and LSU to lose out.

Ole Miss v. Texas A &M is interesting too. sadgator honestly wouldn't mind Ole Miss taking a western loss to knock them out.

Why? If the Gators make it to Atlanta, would you rather them play Ole' Miss or Bama?

I'm making sure all of the duck decoys are stringed, weighted, bagged, and ready to go. Making sure the boat is all in order. Season opens in exactly one month. I'm intrigued by this newfound Memphis team, I'll watch them play Tulsa Friday night. I'll be sure to watch Bama/ UT. Maybe Texas A&M vs Ole Miss.

Want to find sometime to hit the river and hook a few catfish if possible.

I've always wanted to get into fishing. My grandfather fished religiously, but I just don't have the patience for it. I just sit waiting for action and I get impatient and leave. I think I've caught like two in my life SMH.

Using artificial baits relieves some of the boredom. You are constantly casting and reeling. Fly fishing is also an active sport. You wade and constantly cast. I love to fly fish. Taught one son in law how to do it and am now teaching the grandsons

Lol, try bass fishing first..it is constant movement.

I understand the patience part. I come from a long line of deer hunters. I can't sit in a tree in cold weather, not make a peep, and try not to rip one after a bean burrito the night before. During moat duck hunts you have plenty of time to move around for a bit.

Where do you guys hunt and fish?

I do most of my duck hunting in Northeast Arkansas. Arkansas is known as the mallard duck capital of the world. Tons of geese as well.

I fish oxbow lakes along the Mississippi Rivers. I visit the Destin area at least once a year to do some salt water fish.

I did tons of waterfowl hunting in the estuaries near Destin back in the day.

Any of you ever hunt in North GA? I don't know from experience but some of the guys I went to school with say its prime territory. I think up near the Suwanee area.

Ooz...try bass fishing with live bait...in your in the right spot you'll get some action. I used to fish a lot when I was younger...it's certainly a LOT better when catch stuff! lol

+1. Great minds think alike I guess. This is the weekend we usually leave for North Dakota and Saskatchewan for 12 days of goose, duck and pheasant.

I'm jealous. I've done the flooded timber and rice fields in Arkansas. Louisiana Swamps. Florida estuaries plus Lake O. Sea ducks on the Carolina costs. Fields in Nebraska/Kansas.

The Dakota's/Canada hunt are on my bucket list.

We go every year. Have friends up there and access to tons of land so we go DIY. It's truly incredible. You should definitely go. Consider doing it unguided. Pick a few public areas and then go meet farmers for access. Folks up there are generally glad to let you hunt.

however, he can pick a mean steak out of the meat section at Publix....

I assume you also cook said meat? Hunting, killing and then field dressing an animal is not for everyone. But for those of us that like it, doing so is a lot of fun and we consider it to be extending the recipe backward, right to the source

I am defrosting the last of my venison from last year. Gonna make a bodacious deer roast this weekend.

You guys can hunt all you want. The boys and I are doing our biannual Talladega camp out and drink fest.

So I'll be looking at the most redneck titties in Alabama for three days.
Yes. Yes you will.
I will concur with sad. Daytona is awesome.

sadgator does love himself a good NASCAR race. Daytona is like a second home to sadgator. It is amazing if you have never been. 18!!!!

Oh god...Kyle? Old Rowdy?

Give me a break. I'm a Hendricks Motorsports man and (like it or not) Jimmie #48 is my boy. But this being an elimination race and looking at points, Jr needs to win (like he did in May).

Yes...it's a quarter after three my time and I'm just now heading to bed.

Day 1? Mission accomplished.

Like him or not, you gotta admit Kyle has mad driving skills. And who doesn't love M&M's around Halloween? It is too bad this is an elimination race because it is such a crap shoot at the SuperSpeedways. But sadgator loves going up to Daytona and hangin' around the garages on practice day. There is access to the stars like no other sport. You could literally walk into the restroom and be taking a piss next to your favorite driver...unless you like Danica (of course).

If Danica was in the men's room, she'd probably break a urinal, get 4 other people wet, then act like she's the victim.

Kyle on the other hand would run in there, knock somebody until a toilet for no reason and then say "hey man, I'm just takin a leak, I piss hard. That's how it is."

Jimmie would just get done first ;)

Oh yeah...that's right...nascar bathroom analogies

I grew up in Daytona Beach. Went to the speedway a lot as a youth. Never quite understood the attraction to racing. Each to his own.
