Butters could possibly be heading back to the SEC East?

He is where he should be. He won two SEC East DIVISION crowns when the East was at it's easiest. He is thin skinned, arrogant, and couldn't teach a dog how to track a piece of bacon.

Butters would be dumb to slime his way back to the SEC. Apparently, the only thing Mizzou see's in Butters is his 2-0 record vs the Tigers, and the Gator offense sucked while winning.

McLame is already a multi-millionaire, thanks to UF.

So I don't think he really G's-a-S what any of us think or say about him, and doing so is mostly a waste of our own time, so AMF....

Can somebody photoshop this to say “Honky Teeth”?!?!?!?

All I know is that he can't win at a big program in a Power 5 Conference. We will see how 'cool' he is at Mizzo. He'll probably do just good enough to stay there for 3-4 years and make millions of dollars.

This would be fantastic for us. Disaster head coaches at Tennessee and Missouri so we would never have to worry about them competing for the SEC. All we need is to get 4th and Dumb fired somehow, although with the way he recruits, I'm sure he is working his way to that point very quickly with the NCAA.

It will be good days again when Kentucky is the biggest roadblock standing between us and the SEC East.

Just to be the nerd that corrects y'all. It was East St.Louis, Illinois that this happend to Clark's station wagon. Nevertheless carry on, still hilarious.

I could so see Jim McElwain rolling in a wood panel wagon.

Ole Butters was winning SEC East titles after our 5 year drought. Would be crazy if Butters won another one before Mullen gets his first after 11 years.

No, Mullen has not yet won an SEC East title. And yes, he has been coaching in the SEC for 11 years. But really, it would have been very difficult for him to win one at Miss State, West teams so rarely win the East title.

Yep but facts are facts. I will give Mullen a pass as long as he doesn't go 12 years with no division wins. :D

I will point out that Saban doesn't have any East titles either. It's so difficult for a West team to win an East title even Bama hasn't been able to do it.

Mullen has 11 years with no division wins hopefully it doesn't become 12. Butters got 2 in his first 2 seasons in the SEC and has 3 championship game appearances in his last 4 seasons as a coach.

You didn't say division title, you specified East titles. Let's not change the narrative mid-stream.

Would have been great if Mullen inhereted everything after the 2014 season Muschamp left behind like the defense to go along with the talent at WR, a young Jordan Scarlett, Kelvin Taylor, Cronkrite, and Will Grier. Just imagine what kind of offense all of us would have witnessed had Dan Mullen been hired and worked with what Muschamp left rather than Butters.
No way Grier would have been busted for roids or whatever it was he got caught with and no way we would have lost 27-2 in 2015 to the Holes, let alone lost to them at all.

He did - next year will be Mullens first leaning on most of his own recruited players.

We all know Butters never leaned on his own players.

Believe it or not he had more starters that were his in the beginning of 2016 than Mullen had that were his in the beginning of 2019 but I think the starting defense in 2016 was almost all Muschamp recruits.
