The whole thing from John Brantley

About his health
“Nothing really. I’m feeling pretty good and each week I’m [sore] but nothing out of the ordinary -- none of these injuries keep going on.

About changes to the offense
“I mean, a couple things. We’re just trying things out. Nothing too major. But we’re just trying to execute the plays we’ve got and we’ve got really good plays. And we’re just going to keep trying to run our plays and plays that we know well. We’ve just to execute.

“It just some little things. Not really much that’s gonna be too obvious. Just some little things within our offense.

“It probably could. We’re just got to execute. We have great plays and we’ve go out and execute and work hard during the week and just try to get better.”

Any hint of these offensive troubles in the spring or preseason?
“I’m surprised. I didn’t think so at all … I’m still not doubting it all all to be honest with you. We’ve just got to be able to execute. We know the big plays are there, we just have to execute.”

Why the lack of execution?
“It’s little things. We could be a shoestring tackle away from hitting big. Just little things like that are keeping us from hitting big plays. We’ve got to keep doing what we know. We don’t really want to change things up and make things all new and confuse everybody so we’ve got to keep doing what we know. And as I keep saying, just execute it.

Might some younger guys be to help UF execute better?
“No, I don’t think that necessarily. The guys one the field are great players. We’ve got great players here. And you know, its tough to say. We’re going to keep with our guys. We all got each other’s back. I trust all the guys on the field around me and I wouldn’t want anybody else out there with me.

How much are the injuries/suspensions part of the problem?
“We’re a little banged up and hopefully that’s where this bye week is gonna do us well, get everybody healthy and fix those bugs that we gotta fix. We’re just hoping to have everyone healthy when we go to Jacksonville to play Georgia.”

More on the news things with the offense
“Maybe some new things, but we’re not simpling it down at all. Maybe add a couple things that fit our players better. But right now, we’re just trying it out.

“We’re still going to keep doing what we’re doing, just maybe try a few extra things.”

More on the O's lack of production
“Maybe in a way. But in the back of my mind, I know those big plays will happen. Like I said, it’s maybe just a shoestring tackle away. It’s tough when you have great plays. We have all these great players, but things happen. But we’ve got each other’s back and we’re fighting from here.

Have Gator fans treated him poorly?
“Not at all. They didn’t notice me before and they’re not noticing me now.”

How much has he watched the past three games?
“I’ve watched the games. It was a little sick feeling in my stomach. I haven’t watched too much of that. We’ve just got to concentrate on who were playing that week. You’ve got to move on. You’ve got to move forward and learn from those mistakes. You watch it a couple times the next day maybe and write down those mistakes and learn from there.”

How much of a burden is Brantley carrying around because of the offense’s troubles?
“I put a lot on me. I mean, I’m the quarterback of the team. It’s tough. Everyone would probably put it on themselves. But with our team, we’re so close we’re not going to point fingers. There’s no one person messing up at all. We’re going to stick together. I’ve put a lot on it because I’m the quarterback. We’ve gotta get going but we’re a close bunch. And I think we’re going to turn things around and keep fighting.”

More on the offense
“We have the plays. It’s going to happen for us. We’ve got to keep fighting, keep executing.”

Is his own development on schedule?
“I would say so. I’m not sure. Coach Loeffler likes to say so. You know, it’s tough to tell. I would think so and Coach Loeffler says that I’m getting better each week.
