Brad Lawing to FSU

Malzahn went 8-5 this year. Musxhamp went 8-5 this year if you give him the Idaho game. Muschamp was the brains behind UFs good defense, but even UFs defense wasn't as good after Dan Quinn left. Durkin and Lawing were just puppets nLawing is a pretty good dline coach but there has been lots of issues there. It dmeant really matter to be honest. As long as FSU keeps that crappy DC they have they aren't going to put a really good defense on the field.

sadgator is just hoping upon hope that one of the dearly departed has taken the stink cloud with him. sadgator has no animosity toward any of them, and wishes them all well, but he is so thankful to be rid of the lot of them.
You nailed it! McElwain chose Terrell Williams (NFL coach) over Brad Lawing. Period. That is a fact. Whether it was a good move or not time will tell, but Lawing has had some personal issues and has had those personal issues since he was at USCe. Muschamp proved over his 4 years he wasn't very good at hiring assistant coaches.
FSU did us a favor because we don't have to pay Lawing his full salary anymore.
We tried to keep the 2 coaches that were the most valuable to the staff in Summers and TRob. We kept one and lost the other. McElwain didn't try to keep anybody else and IMO that was a good move because we needed a house cleaning.

Cowart already knew Lawing was hired by FSU. Fisher told him at his in-home meeting. He then eliminated FSU after that in-home. Now FSU could get back in the picture for Cowart, but it is Cece that was very close to Lawing, not Cowart. Cowart has a much better relationship with Muschamp.

I feel a bit of compassion for Lawing. He spent a lot of time learning to avoid DUI checkpoints in Alachua. Now he has to invest all that time and energy learning how to do it in Tallahassee.
I enjoy anything that gets a rise out of you Ms. Dottie worshippers. Which one of the criminoles will you guys go full force and defend in 2015? Who's the most likely to be arrested or in the case of f$u, not arrested due to another cover up.

Aside from Al-Qaeda and ISIS, I can't think of any organization that has less room to lecture others about their off-field issues than the Miami Hurricanes. Did you take it as a compliment when people were calling FSU the "New Miami"?
First, he didn't "depart to fsu". He was let go in early January, so he was unemployed when he took the fsu job.
Second, no, I don't think it would change our current status. The recruits are all trying to get to know the new coaching staff and will make their decision when they feel comfortable with them (or not).

I know it, he knows it, you know it, even the Gator posters who don't care who wins know it. I can't believe they have not won or played in the ACCCG. That's like not being capable to bunt in slow pitch softball.
